Ever wonder what would happen if a large, incredibly talented, loving family combined all of their gifts and talent into one event? You would get one amazing DIY wedding that would rock the socks off any event you’ve ever been to! Just before Christmas, Rose and Allen tied the knot in an intimate, yet festive affair, held in the courtyard of her alma mater, Cabrini High School, on beautiful Bayou St. John in New Orleans. The event was chocked full of personal little details, as every friend and family member pulled together to offer up music, decorations, food … you name it! The dashing groom was almost as pretty as the bride in his attire that paid tribute to his Scottish heritage. The ceremony included pinning the bride and her children with his family tartan to welcome them into the clan. They celebrated late into the night at the home of the bride’s aunt, sharing love, laughter and a party that I hear has earned the reputation as the best the house has ever seen!
