Pick up any good southern novel and I promise you the author will talk about the heat and humidity in New Orleans. It was that kind of day when Patricia and Daniel got married in New Orleans. It was hot, and sultry and the humidity hung in the air like a wet blanket — in other words, it was a perfect New Orleans summer day! Steve met up with the bride in the bar at Hotel Provincial, where he found her cooling off and living her best single life single up until the very last minute! We brought her outside for a sweet first look with the groom, then proceeded to take the two of them (and friends) to some of our favorite places in the French Quarter to make some fun, beautiful, authentic New Orleans portraits.
We headed back to Hotel Provincial for the ceremony which took place in the hotel’s quaint little courtyard. Patricia and Daniel exchanged rings, and heartfelt vows. Then the real fun began! Kinfolk Brass Band came onto the scene to treat the wedding party to everyone’s favorite tradition, a New Orleans Second Line. The entire party danced through the streets of the French Quarter and we made it back to the hotel just in time to avoid an impending rain storm. (For the record, I’ve been told it never rains at Hotel Provincial!) The day could not have been more perfect! Wishing so many years of continued love and happiness to Patricia and Daniel! Keep loving, and continue second lining your way through life together!
