Some things are just better together … peas and carrots, peanut butter and jelly, the moon and stars … and now that I know them, I’m going to put Rebecca and Lee onto that list as well. She knew it the moment she met him. She told us that she saw into his eyes and his soul said “it’s been a long time, but I knew you would find me.” Given that before that moment they lived a continent apart, it’s even more incredible that their souls managed to find one another. But fate has a way of doing that, and we know that they and so many who love them are grateful for it! Last month they officially bound their souls when they married in a beautiful, joyful wedding celebration in New Orleans!
The wedding was held in the charming little courtyard at Hotel Provincial in the French Quarter. After the wedding Kinfold Brass Band led the wedding party on a spirited second line through the streets of New Orleans to the Creole Cottage at Arnaud’s. It was actually good for my soul to be hearing brass band music again in what felt like the best return to normal from the last two years! We left the happy newlyweds having dinner with their guests in what was sure a wonderful evening. Congratulations again to Rebecca and Lee, and wishing you so many years of love and happiness!
