October 18th was quite the glorious day in New Orleans, with brilliant sunshine and a much needed break from the heat. It was also a very special day for Brandi and Patrick, marking two years since she received flowers from a very special secret admirer, and one year from the day that admirer asked her to be his wife! Choosing New Orleans for their destination wedding on a whim proved to be a very good decision and one that left these first time visitors to the city totally smitten with it’s old world charm, iron lace balconies and everything else it has been offering visitors for 300 years now.
We met Brandi + Patrick at their hotel on Frenchman Street, where they did the sweetest first look ever and then we took a long, meandering walk to The French Quarter Wedding Chapel. The Wedding Chapel is a tiny little gem in the heart of the French Quarter, where Rev. Tony performed the heartfelt ceremony, proving that a wedding doesn’t have to be large to be mighty. Happy tears flowed freely and the entire guest list, in complete color coordinated attire, helped complete the celebration with a joyous, traditional New Orleans second line! The party headed off to dinner, but we met up with them later that evening, when they literally sealed the deal in ink at Electric Ladyland Tattoo. We left the happy couple, sporting their new Mr. + Mrs. tattoos, wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness! We are fairly certain that although this was their first trip to New Orleans, it certainly will not be their last! Congratulations guys!! We had a blast with you!!

Stefanie DeckerThis is such an amazing way to highlight Brandi and Patrick’s love! Brandi is one of my best friends and I was so sad that I wouldn’t be there to watch her marry the man of her dreams, but because of this sweet blog and these AMAZING photos I feel like I was there. Thank you for doing such a fantastic job of capturing this day for this wonderful couple!
