We met Danielle and Rob when they reached out to us and told us they learned about us on Reddit. We’ve heard that several times, and in spite of searching ourselves, we can’t really figure out who is talking about us on Reddit, but we have to enthusiastically say, whoever you are, keep it up, please! You’re clearly catching our vibe and sending the most perfectly matched couples our way. Danielle and Rob were exactly that.
From the very beginning, they told us they wanted a tiny wedding centered on what mattered most: their people. No pressure, no production—just a laid-back celebration where their guests would leave remembering how much fun they had and how loved they felt.
We love that their only wedding attendant was their 2 year old daughter, who casually watched and observed her parents’ declarations of love and commitment, and that she was swept up for reassuring hugs when the spontaneous joy and clapping of the guests made her cry. We love that their guests were that joyous, loving and enthusiastic!
We love that we were able to wander down Oak Street with the bride and groom and incorporate a little bit of New Orleans culture into their celebration when we captured them with the iconic New Orleans Streetcars. We love that the restaurant they chose was transformed into a dreamy, romantic space by the tons of gorgeous spring florals their florist adorned every surface with. And everywhere you looked, there were tiny moments unfolding—little kids giving high-fives, playing peek-a-boo with grandparents, laughter echoing across generations. It was the kind of night that didn’t need a timeline to feel complete.
And we loved that we were able to steal away with the newly wed couple for a few cozy night shots, where they took a pause to celebrate their new union and even reminisce about their first date.
We loved so much about this day—but what we loved most is that it was entirely, unapologetically theirs. Because that’s the beauty of a tiny wedding: it isn’t about doing less. It’s about making space for what matters most.
Their wedding. Their way.
And that’s exactly why we love them.
