Spring has sprung and we are so excited to have paired up with some of our favorite vendors to showcase some fresh ideas for spring and summer weddings! We had a blast working with Linda Lee Bridal & Boutique, and literally had a difficult time choosing which dresses to feature because their salon is overflowing with so many swoon-worthy new styles! We ultimately settled on this gorgeous modern take on a chic silhouette, which features lace over a blush tulle and crystal clear paillette adorned fabric. Also notable is an illusion neck and ornately beaded illusion back with hand beaded crystals pearls and glass beads. It is modeled by Linda Lee Bridal & Boutique’s own buyer and visual merchandise manager, Courtney Ippolito. And as if that’s not enough, Courtney also designed the dress under her own label, Coco Couture. We also photographed Courtney in a short ivory silk shantung V neck top with a chiffon skirt bow at the waist. This adorable dress would serve equally well as a dress for a small, informal wedding, or as a fun reception dress. We added a flirty pop of color to both gowns with a pair of fuchsia crystal adorned heels by Betsy Johnson. And speaking of fuchsia, Courtney’s gorgeous lip color, as well as the rest of her makeup and hair were done by Verde Beauty.
In designing our shoot, we were in search of one of the beautiful hidden courtyards for which New Orleans is so well known. These hidden gems serve as venues for some of the most lovely, intimate weddings for both local and destination couples, alike. We were delighted to find the one at Broussard’s because not only is it gorgeous on its own, but it also adjoins to the historic Hermann-Grima House. Couples can exchange their vows amidst the old world elegance of the historic home, and meander back and forth beneath the orange trees to the open courtyard of the restaurant. And to top it off, the newly renovated dining room at Broussard’s is the perfect venue for an elegant rehearsal dinner. We punctuated our table decor with a custom embroidered table runner by MBroider Dat and wedding stationary from Smitten Invitations.
All of our amazing florals were provided by Poppy and Mint and featured garden roses, dahlias, anemone and wysteria.
