The Rose Garden in City Park was the setting for the sweet nuptials of Leigh and Johnathan last month.  “Shades of pink” were the color of the day and could be found everywhere, from the beautiful blooming flowers of the botanical garden, to the amazing display of flowers by Poppy & Mint Floral, to the adorable bridesmaid dresses.  The rain stopped just in time for the ceremony, leaving behind puddles of enchanting reflections, which added a bit of its own kind of charm to the celebration!  After the “I do’s” the celebration was moved to the Lath House, one of City Park’s self professed best-kept secrets of the Botanical Garden’s intimate event spaces.  As is typical of an outdoor New Orleans event in May, it was hot but Plum Street Snowballs was on hand to offer guests a fun, refreshing way to cool down.  Congratulations again to the happy couple and wishing you many, many years of love, luck and dodging raindrops together!
