Christmas time in New Orleans is one of the most wonderful times of the year! Throw in a wedding at one of the French Quarter’s most iconic old hotels and the whole event just becomes … well … magical!! And magical it was when Laura and Michael got married in early December at the Monteleone. There was a chill in the air, and Christmas trees peeked out of every nook and cranny. It was the perfect, romantic setting for a wedding! The bride was beautiful as she walked up the aisle to the strains of heavenly harp music. She met her handsome groom at the altar, where they exchanged their heartfelt vows. Then came my favorite part … we got to head up to the rooftop for the newlyweds to be photographed with the neon Monteleone sign!! We were able to make some gorgeous nighttime romantic images for them!! After a quick private dinner, the new Mr. & Mrs. were introduced and a party ensued with the rockin’ sounds of the Crescent City Soul Band and some of the most beautiful (and tasty) food we’ve even experienced! And, the family celebrated the bride’s grandfather’s birthday!! Now they can celebrate together every year!! By all accounts, everyone had a fantastic time. Congratulations, again to Laura and Michael and wishing you many years of happiness!
