Did you know that in order to actually get the to the moon and back you have to travel 477,710 miles?  That’s nearly half a million miles … a pretty great distance … and it puts into perspective just how great the love is when Penny and Jason profess to love each other “to the moon and back”!  But you only need to be near them for a few minutes to see that the love they share is huge … perhaps as big as the distance to the moon and back, but I’d venture to say even greater!  These two, who have known one another since childhood, tied the knot in early October in a beautiful, sweet ceremony at the Jefferson Orleans in Metairie.  Penny was stunning as she stepped out in a cold shoulder gown by Maggio Sottero to meet her handsome groom at the altar.  After exchanging their heartfelt, personal vows, they headed back down the aisle as husband and wife, and kicked off one heck of a party!  Louisiana Spice was in the house, helping to stir up a great time for all of their friends and relatives … and they do have a lot of relatives.  Check out that gaggle of Penny’s cousins gathered around her 94-year old grandmother!  Jason was welcomed into the family by Penny’s cousins when they surprised him with his very own set of white Cajun shrimp boots.  After a second line whirl around the floor with the umbrellas, this party came to an end, and the start of happily ever after began.  Congratulations Penny and Jason and wishing you many, many years of happiness!Vendor Love:
