Whew, last year’s wedding season completely bogged us down so it’s been a been a while since we’ve been able to do a styled shoot.  With a little slice of downtime on the calendar we teamed up last week with Linda Lee Bridal for wardrobing and hair and makeup artist, Katalina Mitchell, for a little bit of studio magic and shot a glamour portrait session!  When Katalina and I initially put our heads together to style the session, we immediately bonded over a love of 1920’s era fashion.  So when we called Courtney at Linda Lee, she immediately pulled these two beautiful gowns from Rosa Clara to fit the bill.  We started out with a beautiful fresh-faced bridal look that would be perfect for any elegant bride on her wedding day.Next we moved into a little heavier makeup and a dress with much more of a 1920’s flapper era feel to it.  With the heavier lining on the eyelids and a change of hairstyle, Katalina was able to transform our model with a whole new look.  This gown is also by Rosa Clara and completely covered in crystal beading and fringe.  I just couldn’t stop saying it was totally swoon-worthy.  Paired up with this Juliette-cap veil, our model, Angel, became a vision of loveliness that would surely leave any groom weak in the knees.We finished up with a fun, flirty look by changing our model into her own navy beaded gown and adding a strand of wrapped pearls.  Her makeup was taken into the realm of WOW! by glamming her up with a smoky eye and heavier lip.  The look totally came together when Katalina created the appearance of a bobbed hairstyle tucked under the gold and beaded headband.
