When a gal who has a penchant for history and a self admitted “thing” for Andrew Jackson meets and falls in love with a guy named Jackson, you kind of get the feeling that they are meant for one another. Spend five minutes with Lydia and Jackson and watch them interact, and you know they were just meant to be! Even a long military separation could not dampen the their obvious electric connection! We had the pleasure of spending the day with them in late October and capturing their elegant, classic wedding with all the New Orleans touches …. a ceremony at the gorgeous, historic Felicity Church, a second line through the heart of the French Quarter, dinner at Antoine’s, a flaming baked Alaska and dancing the night away to the hot sounds of a cool jazz quartet. And let’s not forget the details, oh the lovely details that only a museum curator would think of, including a different silver vintage fork that was hand chosen for each guest, complete with its pattern name, which served as their table place card holder! The entire event was wonderful from beginning to end. Congratulations again to Lydia and Jackson, and wishing you many happy years ahead!
