California, wine country, and visiting my son called to us in late September, and frankly, when you get a calling like that … well, you just have to respond! So we headed out to San Francisco, but not before posting a call for destination photo sessions. Justin and Amanda, an adorable couple that we know from their time spent in New Orleans, responded immediately. “Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!”, Amanda replied. (I think I’m going to vote her Most Enthusiastic Client of 2012). They wanted “proof of life” images, so to speak … a visual documentation of their existence so they could show their families that they were alive and doing well! Not a problem guys, and I knew just the place. We met at Baker Beach just before sunset on a beautiful, warm (by San Francisco standards) afternoon and walked up and down Baker Beach and captured some amazing imagery! I think their families should be able to see that not only are these two indeed alive, but doing verrryyy well! The scenery on the beach is just breathtaking … and I only had to edit out one naked person! We made our way back up the beach just as the sun sunk below the horizon then headed out to an amazing Moroccan restaurant where our feet eventually thawed. Have camera, will travel … where will we see you behind our lens in 2013?
