To the surprise and delight of their friends and family, Cecilia and Joaquin were married on a Monday evening in a low key ceremony in their living room with only an officiant and 2 witnesses present. Last month, they celebrated the marriage with all their loved ones present at a reception at the Audubon Aquarium with a costume party that was anything but low key! Whether you know them as Cecilia and Joaquin, Honey and Snoopy or CeCe and Lucky, it is obvious that their friends and family are crazy about them just the same! The night kicked off with with the wonderful and talented New Orleans Drag Band providing amazing music, and then DJ Kacey Chaos took the reins to kick off one heck of a dance party! After cocktails and speeches, the couple stepped out for their first official dance, then invited their guests to join in to dance the night away.
