We met this beautiful lady last month when she contacted us for a glamour session.  “Yes, absolutely, we love to do glamour sessions!,” we replied … “tell us a little more about yourself.”  And then she launched into her story that just four short months prior she had undergone surgery for a double lung transplant.  We were amazed by her story and beyond delighted to meet her!  When she walked in sporting a t-shirt that brandished “Transplant Dat” across her chest, we got a sense of her wonderful spirited personality!  Her beautiful energy immediately filled the room.  After being treated to a pampering makeover by makeup artist Katalina Mitchell, we photographed Teresa in her favorite Bebe outfits for several hours.  As we were finishing up, I dressed her in one of the big skirts that I keep in my studio and asked her to dance … and that’s when the magic happened!  As she moved and flowed her face lit up and she moved with such lighthearted grace.  We didn’t know her before she had her lung transplants, but we are pretty certain that dancing was not in her every day routine.  And as we watched her dance it occurred to us that we were watching a true miracle in motion,  true living poetry through God’s grace.
