Weddings do not have to be large to be awesome, as proven by Marla and Patrick when they celebrated their marriage in Jackson Square last month. They exchanged their vows in the center of the square during a small, intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends. The scale of their celebration was juxtaposed against the grandeur of the backdrop, the iconic St. Louis Cathedral. Reverend Tony Talavera of the French Quarter Wedding Chapel officiated, and as always, performed a most heartfelt and sincere ceremony. The couple then took off to the Barrel Proof Bar for cake, cocktails and in true New Orleans tradition, a celebratory second line that involved anyone and everyone at the bar!! By all accounts a great time was had by all! Congratulations, guys! Many, many years of love and happiness to you both.
